The water taxi service from Disney Springs to nearby hotels has been suspended for most of the day due to low water levels.

Disney Springs Water Taxi Suspended

Cast Members are posted outside the Sassagoula Steamboat Co. dock at Disney Springs to keep guests informed that the water taxi service to Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, and Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter is suspended for the day.

As an alternative, guests are welcome to walk to Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, or take bus transportation to all four affected resorts from the Town Center Bus Depot.

Cast Members at the docks informed us that the boats were not safe to run due to low water levels in Lake Buena Vista and the canals which connect the nearby resorts.

When visiting, we did notice markedly lower water levels than usual.

Cast Members were also testing the boats or ferrying individual Cast Members to the other resorts, but we were told guest transportation was over for the rest of the day.
