Say ‘Aloha!’ to New Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Loungefly Ears and Mini Backpack

A new Loungefly ear headband and mini backpack themed to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort have made their debut at Walt Disney World Resort.

We found both items in Boutiki at the Polynesian.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Loungefly Ear Headband – $44.99

The new Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Loungefly ear headband features the tiki god Maui on both ears, which are made of a stuffed pleather material with various textures.

Each Maui “ear” also has a grassy fringe as an extra touch.

In the center, this ear headband skips the traditional bow and instead opts for green leaves and red and yellow hibiscus.

The back of the ears feature the official logo for Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort on one ear in dark brown, over a tan pleather backing.

The headband itself is stylized to look like bamboo, and has a fuzzy tan velour lining. An orange Disney Loungefly badge is sewn to one side with tan thread.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Loungefly Mini Backpack – $78.00

As if the ears weren’t enough, there’s also a new Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Loungefly mini backpack themed to the resort. The bag features an overall pattern of many mini Mauis, set against a background of bright blue and surrounded with green leaves and red and yellow hibiscus.

On the upper front of the bag is a tan Disney Loungefly enamel badge with gold accents.

The large front pocket features a Maui applique and embroidered hibiscus and leaves. The pocket itself has a woven grass-like pattern and a grass trim by the zipper.

The handles of the mini backpack are stylized as wooden bamboo handles, attached by brushed gold components and tan pleather loops. The zippers are also that same brushed gold color.

The Maui pattern is also present on both sides of the mini backpack, and are broken up with tan pleather trim and the brushed gold zipper.

The Maui pattern continues to the back of the backpack. The straps are a tan pleather, and are attached by brushed gold components and bright blue adjustable straps.

The interior of the bag is lime green, and has a red, white and yellow flower pattern throughout.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort News

Things have been quite busy over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, as a new Disney Vacation Club tower has been under construction for some time now.

In our last construction update, we noticed new concrete walls were being added to the structure, but there’s still a lot of work left to go before this tower is show ready. You can read our latest construction update here.

The tower will sit on the edge of the Seven Seas Lagoon and have a pool of its own. It’s projected to open in late 2024. You can check out the concept art for the finished tower below.
