Magic Kingdom
- Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom has sold out on Halloween, October 31, 2023.
- The barrel bridge has been removed from Tom Sawyer Island at Magic Kingdom, potentially for refurbishment.
- A new ID tag machine featuring Disney100, Pride, and classic Mickey & Friends designs is now available in the Emporium at Magic Kingdom.
- Celebration is in full swing for the Fourth of July 2023 at Walt Disney World, with fireworks displays and DJ dance parties kicking things off tonight at Magic Kingdom.
- The Walt Disney World Monorail fleet has joined in the 4th of July celebrations with red, white, and blue undercarriage lights.
- The recently refurbished mini monorails on the queue signs at the Transportation & Ticket Center have debuted a new feature: “undercarriage” lights to match their full size counterparts.
EPCOT
- We have our first look at the upcoming EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival 2023 Loungefly mini backpack, thanks to shopDisney.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- There’s a new job posting on the Disney Auditions website for “The Nightmare Before Christmas” sing-along show that will be part of Disney Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios this winter.
Disney Springs
- Disney Springs has been posting signs this weekend to remind guests that the shopping and dining center does not have fireworks, even for the 4th of July.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Crews have finished their refurbishment of the Summerhouse at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, but work continues in the lobby and above Gasparilla Island Grill.
- The balconies of the new Disney Vacation Club tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort continue to come together as work also moves inside the building.
- When you’re walking around the resort hotels of Magic Kingdom, do you ever look down? You should! You might find these not-so-hidden sidewalk hidden Mickeys.
New Merchandise
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has a new Loungefly crossbody wallet/purse available in Curiouser Clothiers.
- New Disney Munchlings plush are available at Walt Disney World, including an Orange Crème Taffy Chuuby Munchling.
- In addition to the new Haunted Mansion Trend Collection, shopDisney will soon have the new Haunted Mansion Classic Collection, Limited Edition “Bride” Doll, and Haunted Mansion Dooney & Bourke accessories.
- The new stainless steel Starbucks tumblers and bottles from Walt Disney World Resort are now available on shopDisney.com.
- Walt Disney World has new youth Big Thunder Mountain Railroad apparel available from the Ily 4EVER line.

Other Walt Disney World News
- According to a recent court filing in their lawsuit against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District Board of Supervisors, Disney suggested the groups seek mediation instead of going to trial.
Disneyland Resort
- Coffee lovers and Disney fans will want to race right over to grab the new Mickey Mouse French Press, which we spotted on a recent trip to Disneyland.
- Disneyland has announced that the Haunted Mansion will be closed starting on August 14 to receive its “The Nightmare Before Christmas” Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay.
- In addition to the new Haunted Mansion Trend Collection, shopDisney will soon have the new Haunted Mansion Classic Collection, Limited Edition “Bride” Doll, and Haunted Mansion Dooney & Bourke accessories.
- As Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel continues its transformation into Pixar Place Hotel, more updated elements are being opened up for guests’ use.
- The new stainless steel Starbucks tumblers and bottles from Disneyland Resort are now available on shopDisney.com.
- Almost all the lights are burnt out in the famous blue light tunnel at the beginning of Space Mountain at Disneyland.
- A small new collection of merchandise inspired by the classic Disney animated film, “Peter Pan” is now available at Disneyland Resort
Tokyo Disney Resort
- Street dancers and additional character performers have returned to Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade: DreamLights after a long absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
