EPCOT’s Spaceship Earth will be temporarily closed this month for refurbishment, according to the Walt Disney World website.

According to the operating calendar for the resort, Spaceship Earth will close at EPCOT on Wednesday, July 19, and remain closed for just one day. The attraction is scheduled to reopen on Thursday, July 20.

There were no details provided for the reason for the closure, but it is likely due to some quick and potentially critical maintenance being needed that cannot be completed just overnight.
