Theme park hours have been extended near the end of this month at Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Magic Kingdom Hours

On August 22 and August 25, Magic Kingdom will open one hour earlier, at 8:00 a.m. Early entry for Walt Disney World hotel guests will begin at 7:30 a.m. The park closes at 6:00 p.m. on both days for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. At that time, only guests who have purchased Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets will be able to remain in the park, while day guests will be ushered out.

On Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party days, “Happily Ever After” is not performed. Party guests get wristbands so Cast Members can tell the difference between them and day guests.

A similar change in opening hours was made for an earlier party date.

“Fantasmic!” will be performed at 9:30 p.m. beginning on August 6.
