To celebrate Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year, the Walt Disney World Monorail fleet has joined in on the frightful fun with purple and orange undercarriage lights.

The LED lighting effects were added as part of the 50th anniversary of the resort in 2021. We last noticed them changing for the 4th of July celebrations.

Monorails Add Purple and Orange Undercarriage Lights

The lights alternate between purple and orange.

The lighting effect glides up from color to color along the length of the Monorail, making for a cool sight.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs from August 11 through November 1 on select nights. A separate ticket is required to attend.
