Contempo Café at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will debut new menu items tomorrow, Wednesday, August 16. Most will be available year-round, but they will also have a seasonal sugar cookie that rotates throughout the year.

Contempo Café Breakfast

For breakfast, Contempo Café will offer the new Breakfast Flatbread and Minnie Cinnamon Roll dipped in white chocolate.

Contempo Café Lunch & Dinner

Lunch and dinner will include the returning, updated Four-Cheese Grilled Cheese & Tomato-Basil Soup.

The new Spicy Chicken Sandwich is a crispy chicken breast topped with pepper jack, chipotle rémoulade, arugula, seasoned tomato, and dill pickle chips served on a brioche bun.

Starting at 4:00 p.m. each day, guests can order Signature Rice Bowls. The bowls combine cilantro-lime rice, black beans, street corn, avocado, pico de gallo, carrot, and pickled red onion. Then they are topped with a protein of your choice: grilled shrimp, braised beef, grilled chicken, or plant-based crispy tofu.

Contempo Café Desserts

There are six new desserts coming to Contempo Café. The Monorail S’more Brownie is a nod to the Walt Disney World Monorail that drives through the resort. It’s a fudgy brownie with a graham cracker crust topped with marshmallow crème and chocolate décor.

The 5-Legged Goat Fruit Tart is inspired by the iconic Mary Blair Grand Canyon Concourse mural’s 5-Legged Goat at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The treat features a vanilla tart shell filled with raspberry-lemon curd topped with fresh fruit and lemon whipped cream.

To go with the resort’s Incredibles theming is the Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums Cupcake. This chocolate cupcake is topped with chocolate chip cookie dough mousse.

Guests can also enjoy the new plant-based, and gluten and wheat-friendly Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar.

There are three new Signature Deluxe Cookies: a Chocolate Chunk Cookie with peanut butter buttercream, a Churro Cookie with cinnamon buttercream, and the Kitchen Sink Cookie, a chocolate chip cookie with salted caramel, Mickey chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, butterscotch, and walnuts.

The summer’s seasonal sugar cookie is the Strawberry Lemonade Sugar Cookie. It’s topped with strawberry buttercream and patriotic sprinkles, and will be available through September 30.
