Breeze Airways Canceling Non-Stop Flights From Walt Disney World to Disneyland Until February 2024

Earlier this year, Breeze Airways began offering non-stop flights between John Wayne Airport (SNA) and Orlando International Airport (MCO), allowing guests to travel between Walt Disney World and Disneyland with one-way flights in each direction starting at $69 during the introductory period. This service has now paused, partially due to SNA’s request for airlines to reduce flights, until February 2024.

WDWNT reader Scott shared the email he received from Breeze Airways canceling his flight. Breeze stated they had already been planning a seasonal break for the route, but paused a few weeks earlier than originally expected. The service is scheduled to resume on February 14, 2024. Guests with canceled flights will receive a full refund, or BreezePoints credited back to their account. Read the full email below.

While we had already planned a seasonal break for this route, were pausing a few weeks earlier than originally scheduled to honor the Orange County airport’s request for all airlines to reduce flights through the end of the year. Breeze service between Orlando (MCO) and Orange County (SNA) will resume on February 14, 2024.

We hope you’ll explore new travel options with us or rebook once our seasonal route becomes available again. Please check out our routes and destinations here.

Thank you, Breeze Airways TM

Breeze also shared this statement about the pause, which begins on October 4:

Breeze Airways’ seasonal flight to Orlando will be temporarily suspended from October 4. The route was offered for sale through November 14 but will be paused six weeks earlier than planned in order to comply with SNA’s request to all airlines to temporarily reduce capacity through the end of the year. The route will return on February 14, 2024.  Impacted Guests will receive a full refund to their method of payment.

While several airlines serve both MCO and SNA, Breeze Airways was the only one to offer a non-stop flight between the two. We tried the service in March, managing to catch the Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom and “Wondrous Journeys” at Disneyland on the same day. Read our full review.
