Magic Kingdom

• The Br’er Rabbit weathervane that sat atop the barn cupola in the queue area of the former Splash Mountain attraction at Magic Kingdom has been removed as crews continue its transformation into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
• Rolling shrubs and scrim have gone up in the area immediately surrounding the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade in Magic Kingdom.

EPCOT

• A new Disney PhotoPass Magic Shot featuring Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker themed to the 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is now available for a limited time.
• Oaken has put his entrepreneurial spirit on display and expanded his business, as there is now a “Wandering Oaken’s Pop-Up Portraits” photo location in the Norway Pavilion at EPCOT.

Disney Springs

• Call in the spirits… to Disney Springs! A new Haunted Mansion-inspired portrait studio opportunity is available now from Disney PhotoPass.

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

• Additional doors through which guests will ultimately look for a picturesque view of Seven Seas Lagoon have been installed as work continues to progress on the Disney Vacation Club tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

New Merchandise

• A new park-exclusive collection celebrating Disney’s Animal Kingdom is now available, including a mug, throw blanket, and throw pillow.

Tokyo Disney Resort

• The new Duffy & Friends Autumn Storybook Collection is available now at Tokyo DisneySea.
• A new TikTok shows the disappearing Shiriki Utundu from the Tower of Terror pre-show with lights on, revealing the magic of the effect.

Entertainment and Media

• New reports suggest the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the Alliance of Motion Pictures and Television Producers (AMPTP) are in the final phase of negotiations on a new three-year contract.

Disney+

• A new trailer for the “Doctor Who” 60th anniversary special has released, confirming Neil Patrick Harris’ portrayal as a classic villain from the series.
