In addition to annual passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members will also get to experience Journey of Water Inspired by Moana early, as previews exclusively for members have been announced, per DVC News.

Journey of Water Disney Vacation Club Previews

Previews for DVC Members will take place on September 24-29 and October 1-4, the same dates as the Annual Passholder preview announced earlier this morning. The second round of Cast Member previews is happening now, and are scheduled to end on September 22.

Also like the Annual Passholder previews, no advance registration is required, though Disney Vacation Club Members will have to qualify for Membership Extras in order to participate. Each Member can bring four additional guests per membership card, and the member must be present with their party and show their digital ID and photo ID to enter. Previews are limited to one event date per membership.

Theme park admission and a park reservation to EPCOT is required. Those who park hop to EPCOT after 2 p.m. will not be eligible to take part in the preview.

The preview will be available from park open through 5 p.m. ET on each preview day.

Check-in for the experience will be located at the entrance to Journey of Water Inspired by Moana in World Nature.

Journey of Water Inspired by Moana

Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is a “self-guided outdoor trail where you can play with water as it travels from the sky to the oceans and back again.”

It will have a wet path and a dry path for guests who don’t want to get wet. It seems there won’t be MagicBand+ interaction.

“Along with Moana as a steward of water conservation, Te Fiti is a symbol of how we should protect and nurture water wherever we find it,” Reid Ekman, Lead Concept Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering, said of the giant Te Fiti figure at the attraction.

This is an important theme in Journey of Water, where guests will learn more about how water travels from our skies to the ocean, and back again. This story will unfold along a lush trail inspired by the environments and art style of the beloved Walt Disney Animation Studios film.

Cast Members working at Journey of Water and The Seas With Nemo & Friends will have convertible environmentally-friendly costumes.
