Are you brave enough to set foot in Villains Grove? Disney’s rogue’s gallery of baddies have taken over the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail at Oogie Boogie Bash once again this year, turning it into a dreamscape of lights, sounds, and magic.
Villains Grove at Oogie Boogie Bash
Guests enter the trail beneath the Redwood Creek sign, which includes a smaller sign addition advertising Villains Grove.
The experience hasn’t changed from previous years, though it’s still a unique experience to walk through.
Passing through the roots of this tree, guests will find themselves in a world taken over by Disney villains.
Frollo’s Sanctuary
Guests first head into this otherworldly cathedral of trees, infused with the smell of incense and the sounds of chanting voices.
Candelabra and stained glass projections can be seen throughout this area.
Maleficent’s Will
Next, visitors travel through a region filled with ravens, thorn-spiked vines, and a spellbound waterfall of color.
Queen of Hearts Garden
This charming garden of roses paint themselves red right before your eyes.
The Cheshire Cat vanished before we could get a good photo of him, of course.
Which way do we go?
You might even spot the Queen of Hearts in these woods.
Scar’s Elephant Graveyard
In Scar’s Elephant Graveyard, guests descend into a vast expanse that echoes with the sound of hyena cackling and the cloudy fog of smoke.
Shadows of hyenas pass over this rock face. One must be prepared in case you encounter them.
Dr. Facilier’s Friends on the Other Side
Not to be left out, Dr. Facilier has summoned his shadowy friends with colorful spells, luring guests deeper into the grove.
The Wicked Queen’s Lightning Forest
In the Wicked Queen’s Lightning Forest, guests witness the trees come to life as an electrifying storm flashes from branch to branch.
Home of the Wisps
In the home stretch of the grove, the winged caretakers known as wisps lead guests to safety through a bastion of endless light.
Dawn
When “Dawn” comes, guests escape the grove, with flickering lanterns leading the way toward a brilliant sunrise.
