The food kiosk in front of Cinema 4-D at Universal Studios Japan is currently offering My Melody & Kuromi-inspired churros for the Halloween season.

There are two churro flavors. The My Melody churro is strawberry milk and decorated with a pink heart and flower. The Kuromi churro is salted caramel with a pink skull on the end.

This churro was fantastic. It provided a nice crunch, and the strawberry frosting complemented the overall flavor.

There is a strong strawberry flavor throughout this churro, but it works. It effectively toes the line between being overpowering and just the right amount, and speaking of being just the right amount, the treat is deceivingly filling. The churro may not look large, but we were full after one.

This dessert is certainly worth the ¥700, and we recommend it.
