Guests with a sweet tooth should head over to the Swirled Showcase marketplace, a new food booth available during the 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. This marketplace is serving up Liquid Nitro Cake (which has been missing from the festival since 2020) and the fan-favorite dessert drink, the Frozen Apple Pie.

The Swirled Showcase booth is the old Traveler’s Cafe Starbucks.

*NEW* Mickey-shaped Liquid Nitro Cake – $4.75

The cake pops are frozen but can start melting quickly in the Florida sun. Still, ours was cold when we tried it.

The cake is more like a brownie. It’s thick, heavy, and a bit chewy — but not in a bad way.

The chocolate it’s dipped in is great. The crunchy toppings, which reminded us a bit of Rice Krispies, add a crunch.

We liked this and think it’s the perfect portable, cold treat for a hot day.

*NEW* Cream Soda Float with Vanilla Soft-Serve – $6.25

*NEW* Fanta Grape Float with Vanilla Soft-Serve – $6.25

This has a strong grape flavor. It tastes like a melted grape snow cone with a little bit of ice cream.

We didn’t like this and would rather just have a grape slushie. Plus, it’s $6.25 for a very small cup.

We will say that after the ice cream had fully melted, this was much better. It then tasted like a grape creamsicle.

Frozen Apple Pie – $6.25

This is one of our favorite non-alcoholic drinks at the festival. We did feel like there was a bit too much ice cream and not enough cider.

The apple pie filling on top is great. It’s a tasty and refreshing slush.

We feel like, again, the cup is too small for the price and for how many ingredients there are. It uses the cinnamon apple cider you can also get on its own (below).

Cinnamon Apple Cider – $3.75

This is a non-alcoholic cider by 3 Daughters. It’s really good. It’s fairly sweet, with a crisp apple taste and a hint of cinnamon. It’s like a sparkling apple juice and would be perfect for kids.

*NEW* 3 Daughters Toasted Coconut Porter, Orlando, FL (5.3% ABV) – $11.25

From Untappd: “A seasonal brown porter that would be good on its own is even better with a subtle toasted coconut character that complements the dark grains wonderfully. A complex and exotic potion that’s an easy drinking, refreshing tropical elixir.”

*NEW* 3 Daughters Toasted Coconut Porter Float with Salted Caramel Soft-Serve – $13

This is a cool combination. By the time we drank it, the beer had settled on the bottom and the ice cream had floated to the top. But that made it more refreshing.

As it melted and mixed together more, it became like an alcoholic milkshake, which was even better.

The pairing of salted caramel and toasted coconut is great. The salted caramel sweetens the beer a bit. We highly recommend this float.

*NEW* Berry Fizz Fragolino Red Sparkling Wine Float with Vanilla Soft-Serve – $13

This is good, and it also has an alcoholic milkshake quality to it.

If you’re in to sparkling wine, you’ll like this, but even if you don’t love sparkling wine, you might still enjoy it.

The ice cream sweetens it up, just like with the beer float.
