FIRST LOOK: Disney Symphony of Colors Daytime Show Premiering at Disneyland Paris in February

Disneyland Paris shared a first look at the previously announced daytime stage show premiering in February. The show is part of the Disney Symphony of Colors, accompanying the Main Street Electrical Parade-inspired nighttime drone spectacular.

Disneyland Paris said on Instagram that the show is “bursting with beloved songs, dances and stories performed by a host of Disney and Pixar Characters. It’s a colourful new experience that’s sure to lift your spirits.” The preview image features Mickey on a black and white set with colorful paint spilling over it. Mirabel from “Encanto” and Stitch are on the ground in front of the set.

This will be the first appearance of Mirabel in Disneyland Paris. As previously announced, the show will also feature Timon from “The Lion King” and Joy from “Inside Out.”

While the Disney Symphony of Colors drone show will debut on January 8, 2024, this daytime show will premiere on February 10, 2024.

Disneyland Paris initially described the drone show as “a dazzling journey featuring a magical combination of fountains, lights, video projections, and synchronized drones that will draw animated floats in the air as a nod to an iconic experience that once lit up the night at Disneyland Paris.”

We later learned the “iconic experience” was the Main Street Electrical Parade, which was performed at Disneyland Paris from April 1992 to March 2003. For a full history and exploration of the Main Street Electrical Parade, check out our interview with nighttime spectacular designer Don Dorsey.
