Journey Into Imagination With Figment at EPCOT will be closed for one day of routine maintenance on October 10, 2023.

Journey Into Imagination Maintenance

The attraction will reopen on October 11. Disney said on the ride’s webpage that all other areas and offerings of the Imagination! Pavilion will remain open on October 10.

Imagination! Pavilion offerings include the Figment meet and greet, a Joy meet and greet, a gift shop full of Figment merchandise, and a new ID tag machine.

Also technically part of the Imagination! Pavilion is the Magic Eye Theater featuring the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival and the Mickey and Minnie meet and greet.

Journey Into Imagination History

Journey into Imagination opened in 1983, a few months after EPCOT Center’s opening. The ride demonstrated the beauty, power, and wonder of imagination to guests and was well-received.
