A new Pandora charm that puts a beloved Disney character to work on an iconic attraction recently debuted at Walt Disney World Resort. Stitch appears in bellhop threads alongside The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror on a new dangle charm available at the resort; we found this pin at Legends of Hollywood at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but we’ve been told that it will soon make its way to Uptown Jewelers at Magic Kingdom.
Stitch Tower of Terror Pandora Charm – $75
The new dangle charm is primarily silver but does feature a few splashes of color. Experiment 626 towers over the… tower with his mouth agape. He’s wearing a red bellhop outfit and hat, with his costume looking similar to those worn by Cast Members in the lobby section of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction.
Black detailing on his face establishes his nose, mouth, and eyes. The interior of his ears is a dark purplish-hue, and this color is again used to create shading on the tower portion of the charm.
The tower depicted in the charm is based on the Disney’s Hollywood Studios version of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction. Protruding layers create depth along the charm, with black and purple shading creating the appearance of windows and shadows.
The dangle charm can be connected to and displayed from a necklace chain or bracelet.
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Stitch crossover is one that Disney has explored in the past, perhaps most notably in a 2020 Annual Passholders exclusive pin. The limited edition pin placed Stitch in front of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction building and saw him don bellhop threads similar to the ones he’s wearing on the new charm.
Several other pins combining the two properties have been released in the past. Stitch once served as a mascot, of sorts, for the runDisney Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-miler, sometimes appearing in bellhop attire in promotional materials for the event.
Disney and Pandora Collaborations
Disney and Pandora are frequent collaborators, as the Danish jewelry manufacturer often releases charms and other pieces of jewelry depicting beloved Disney characters. Pandora is currently in the midst of releasing a set of charms celebrating Disney100 (Disney’s 100th-anniversary celebration); several sterling silver and 14K gold charms have been released as part of the line, with a Dumbo dangle charm most recently being released in early September.
It’s not just Disney proper characters that are depicted on Pandora charms, as the company has released “Marvel” and “Star Wars”-inspired jewelry in the past. Disney Parks have even been represented, as Pandora recently produced an official charm set for the 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival among several other parks-inspired collections. A Figment dangle charm debut at the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder shopping event in early September.
