Universal Studios Florida to Hold Halloween Horror Nights Artist Series Signing Event in October

Have you ever wanted to meet the artistic minds behind some of your favorite Halloween Horror Nights art and merchandise? Universal Orlando Resort is giving you the chance to do just that with a special artist series signing event.

Artist Series Signing Event at Universal Studios Florida

Universal Studios Florida Artist Series Signing Event 1

The event will take place on October 4, 2023 at Universal Studios Florida. Guests can meet four artists behind some of their favorite Halloween Horror Nights merchandise at Five & Dime from 3-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

Artists included in the signing event are Brian Beauregard, Luis Orazi, Jose Pardo, and Andrew Stoncypher.

The event is advertised via an A-frame sign posted outside the Five & Dime, which includes biographies for each of the attendees. You can read them below:

Brian Beauregard

Brian is a global award-winning Executive Creative Director and designer from Clermont, FL. He began his career at Universal Studios over 18 years ago as a Design Manager for Universal Parks and Resorts Merchandise.

His career evolved as his passion for product development and design blossomed. As Executive Creative Director for Merchandise for global parks and resorts, Brian has worked on many industry-breaking projects such as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Diagon Alley, Transformers, Despicable Me Attraction, Toothsome Chocolate Emporium, Universal’s Volcano Bay Water Park, and Universal Studios Beijing just to name a few.

Brian has been instrumental over the years with growth and development of Halloween Horror Nights for both Orlando and Hollywood parks dating back to The Caretaker in 2002.

Luis Orazi

Universal Studios Florida Artist Series Signing Event 3

Luis’ art career with Universal Parks & Resorts Merchandise spans nearly 20 years. During this time, Luis has created many terrifying designs for Halloween Horror Nights, including licensed artwork for ‘Stranger Things,’ ‘The Walking Dead,’ ‘Ghostbusters,’ and ‘Killer Klowns From Outer Space.’

Luis is best known for creating the hugely successful HHN 25th Anniversary Jack artwork. His award-winning merchandise designs continue to delight Universal Parks & Resorts visitors all over the world.

Jose Pardo

Universal Studios Florida Artist Series Signing Event 5

After graduating from Jersey City State College in 1988 with a BFA in illustration, Jose worked at several business to business advertising agencies in N.J. before moving to Orlando in ’92. He began his Universal career in 2012 as a merchandise artist. In that capacity he has created art for most of our Parks across the world.

Jose has received internal and external recognition for his artwork winning an EIL award and Addys. He was the lead designer for HHN 26 merchandise, and was happy to collaborate with the rest of the art team to create last year’s Jack merchandise and this year’s Frankenstein Artists Signature merchandise.

When Jose is not at work he is creating his own oil paintings or spoiling his cats.

Andrew Stoncypher

Andrew Stoncypher is an Art Director and Designer with a BFA in Illustration from Ringling College of Art and Design. Andrew is best known for his time as an Artist and Designer at Universal Products and Experiences where he created unique and exciting merchandise for Universal parks and Resorts around the globe.

Andrew’s popular designs include Universal’s “Retro” Collection, Halloween Horror Nights’ Studio Screamers, Earl the Squirrel, Poseidon’s Fury “Final Tour,” and many more. Andrew has spent his entire career blending his love for art and design with his enthusiasm for theme parks and movies, where he continues to do so as an Art Director for RSVLTS Clothing.

Andrew enjoys spending his free time at Universal, especially during his favorite time of the year, Halloween Horror Nights.
