It’s hard for a muggle to imagine a more serene holiday experience than walking through the decorated streets of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade at Universal Islands of Adventure or The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida with a refreshing butterbeer in hand. Guests can now commemorate that occurrence with a festive new souvenir metal mug that recently debuted at Universal Studios Orlando.

Holiday Butterbeer Metal Mug – $40 (with drink)

Metal butterbeer mugs have long been available for purchase at Universal Orlando Resort, with the souvenir stein first debuting at the parks in February of 2023. The holiday edition of the mug is largely the same as the previously released version, with a few subtle festive differences.

The mugs are structurally identical and each feature the brown, green, and gold “butterbeer” logo sticker that appears on most souvenir butterbeer cups at Universal Orlando Resort. The detailing is what differentiates the holiday mug from its previously available alternative, as white snowflake stickers have been added atop and beneath the butterbeer logos.

Five white snowflakes appear above the primary sticker, with an additional five appearing below it.

The mug is dual-sided, with the butterbeer logos and snowflake details appearing on both sides of the cup. This is another element that sets it apart from its predecessor.

We found this mug at a butterbeer cart in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade. The previous version of the stein was sold at Hog’s Head and several locations in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley; we suspect that is the case with this edition, as well.
