Set up for the holiday season is in full swing at Walt Disney World, as decorations go up for the 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. The annual event takes place in EPCOT from November 24 through December 30, 2023.

The Stage at World Showcase Plaza

A stage at World Showcase Plaza has been put in place to prepare for the festival.

The space will be home to JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season. The show highlights the joy of Christmas and Kwanzaa through Gospel, R&B and holiday songs. Showtimes are currently listed as 1:15 p.m., 2:20 p.m., 3:25 p.m., and 4:30 p.m.

Banners on the stage feature flags from the World Showcase countries.

Mexico

In the Mexico Pavilion, garland has gone up in the area that will be home to Las Posadas — a performance featuring the music of EPCOT mainstays, Mariachi Cobre.

A wreath with peppers decorates the area.

La Hacienda de San Angel, a sit-down restaurant in the pavilion, got its holiday makeover.

Mexico’s quick-service location, La Cantina de San Angel, also has added flair.

Each country has a sign sharing its traditions and holiday fun.

Norway

In the Norway Pavilion, the stage is set for A Mischievous Magical Barn Santa.

The Norwegian Christmas tree is ready for the event.

“God jul!” means “Merry Christmas” in Norwegian.

Germany

Garland is up throughout the Germany Pavilion.

It’s only right that decor outside of Karamell-Küche includes sweet treats.

Those gingerbread cookies look good enough to eat.

America

The tree in the America Pavilion is fully decorated.

The tree is adorned with pineapples and poinsettias.

America Gardens Theatre

Progress is being made on the stage at America Gardens Theatre, where the Candlelight Processional will take place.

The performances will occur November 24 to December 30, with listed showtimes as 5:15 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 8:30 p.m.

This year’s event welcomes many new celebrity narrators, including Brendan Fraser, Eva Longoria, and Jordan Fisher.

Morocco

Holiday signage has made its way to the Morocco Pavilion.

A closer look at Morocco’s festival sign reveals how the country celebrates the holidays.

France

In the France Pavilion, super-sized ornaments display icons of the country, like the Arc de Triomphe.

French pastries fill another ornament.

A buche de noel is a French Yule log.

The Eiffel Tower becomes a winter wonderland.

Chefs de France, the pavilion’s table service location, received minimal exterior decorations.

United Kingdom

The United Kingdom Pavilion has been transformed for the 2023 International Festival of the Holidays.

Small details lend themselves to the pavilion-specific aesthetic.

Holiday teapots were spotted in the UK.

World Showcase makes up only a portion of the park’s transformation as it gets ready for the 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. We’ve also seen decorations going up for Living with the Land’s holiday overlay, and a full menu for the event has been released.
