BREAKING: EPCOT At Capacity for New Year’s Eve 2023 For Most Ticket Types

If you’re hoping to go to EPCOT for New Year’s Eve 2023, you may need to park hop if you haven’t already secured a park pass for that evening, as most ticket types are already unable to make park reservations for that day.

Only guests with Incredi Pass Annual Passes can make reservations at this time. Other types of passes already had December 31 as a blackout date, so this remains the only type of pass still able to secure an EPCOT reservation for New Year’s Eve.

“Luminous: The Symphony of Us” will replace “EPCOT Forever,” which is a temporary fireworks show that originally ran between the final performance of “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” and the first performance of “Harmonious.”

“IllumiNations” ran from 1999 to 2019. “Harmonious” debuted on October 1, 2021, for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World. It had its final performance on April 2, 2023, after which “EPCOT Forever” returned for another temporary run.

“Luminous” was supposed to debut for the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company, which took place on October 16, 2023. The debut was delayed, possibly due to the musical score not meeting expectations.

“Luminous” fireworks dining packages will be available at Rose & Crown and Spice Road Table. We have seen fireworks barges and show platforms in World Showcase Lagoon as the show is completed.
