Crush and Mr. Ray are back on the facade of The Seas With Nemo & Friends in EPCOT, and it looks like Bruce the shark will return soon.

The large character cutouts were removed during a refurbishment of The Seas building, which included painting the roof a beige color more reminiscent of its original look.

The Nemo and Marlin flats were also painted a new shade of orange.

Crush and Mr. Ray look the same but may have received fresh coats of paint during their absence.

The character decorations consist of two flat pieces — a dark blue base and a lighter-colored top.

The dark blue base shows through openings in the top layers, creating details like the character’s eyes or stripes.

A couple of small fish are missing, and pegs are visible where they would usually be.

The dark blue base of Bruce has returned, but his top layer has not yet been re-installed.

His top layer was a light aqua-blue color.

While the character decorations, roof, and seagulls have all been refurbished, we noticed that the sign for The Seas With Nemo & Friends could use some TLC. Hopefully, it will get refreshed soon.

The water effects have also not been turned back on, maybe because of continued work on the rocks.

Below is a photo of The Seas façade from 2021, including the previously yellow Nemo and Marlin, and the previously light blue roof.

The roof was painted light blue when “Finding Nemo” took over in the early 2000s. The sun was also removed from the mural and character cutouts were added.
