A new ear headband and throw blanket that show Mickey & Friends enjoying Magic Kingdom are available at Walt Disney World. The merch is part of a new “Play in the Park” collection.
The original “Play in the Park” merchandise series was released at Disneyland Resort in 2021 and 2022, although some items made their way to Walt Disney World. We found these items in the Emporium in Magic Kingdom.
“Play in the Park” Ear Headband – $34.99
The new pleather ear headband is an aquamarine color and features new “Play in the Park” artwork.
Minnie and Mickey are pictured riding a teacup at the Mad Tea Party. Both of them, plus Donald and Goofy, are also pictured on a Pirates of the Caribbean boat.
There is also artwork depicting Donald riding an Astro Orbiter rocket, and Goofy and Donald with a Hitchhiking Ghost in a Haunted Mansion Doom Buggy. In the background are retro star images. Daisy, Pluto, Chip, and Dale also appear.
The puffy bow in the center is covered in translucent aquamarine sequins, with a charm on the center resembling a classic black Mickey ear hat.
The pattern continues onto the backs of the ears and on the outside of the headband.
There is also artwork of tickets, popcorn stands, and balloons.
“Play in the Park” Throw Blanket – $37.56
The throw blanket is blue and features artwork that matches the ears.
It’s 50 inches x 60 inches or 127 centimeters x 152 centimeters.
Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto are pictured in casual park-going clothes in front of Cinderella Castle.
We’ll likely see more new “Play in the Park” merchandise soon.
