Walls Go Up Around Ghirardelli at Disney Springs

Ghiradelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop is currently closed for refurbishment at Disney Springs. Aqua walls are now around the building.

At the time of our visit, there was no noticeable work being done to the exterior of the building.

Expected to reopen in Spring 2027, the permanent Ghirardelli location at Disney Springs is undergoing significant refurbishment. It will add to the indoor seating space, reduce wait times, and add unannounced surprises for guests.

Signage on the walls encourages guests to visit the temporary Ghirardelli location, which just opened to serve guests as the main building undergoes refurbishment. Ghirardelli took over the former Sprinkles Cupcakes location in Town Center. Sprinkles closed permanently at the beginning of the year. The building then housed CrazyShake by Black Tap for three months.

All the same sundaes as the regular location are available at the temporary store.
