Ho ho no! The Grinch has arrived in Seuss Landing! The mean one is back for another Who-liday season here at the Universal Orlando Resort. Now through December 31, 2023, guests can enjoy all the holidays have to offer, including getting up close and personal with the Grinch. Let’s stop by the Grinch’s lair and pay him a visit.
The Grinch meet and greet is in the same location as last year, inside Honk Honkers near the exit of the High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride. Last year, the meet and greet was only offered with a Virtual Line time. Many guests were disappointed by this system. This year, there will be no Virtual Line required and guests will use a standby queue to meet the Grinch. The standby queue will start near Honk Honkers and Moose Juice, Goose Juice and travel down through Sneetch Beach.
The Grinch meet and greet will run from park opening to park close. The wait times are expected to be very high this year, so be sure to plan accordingly. The Grinch must depart at park closing, so when the standby line hits capacity, the line will be closed for the day. This could happen early in the day, depending on the crowds. Unfortunately, Express is not accepted for the meet and greet with the Grinch.
The Grinch also makes appearances during the Universal Holiday Tour and the Grinch and Friends Character Breakfast, in case you don’t get a chance to meet him during the day. Be sure to book one of those experiences soon, as space is limited.
