Universal Orlando Resort has been getting ready for “Trolls Band Together” with photo ops, a new outfit for Poppy, and specialty shakes. Schwab’s Pharmacy has debuted three new specialty shakes to celebrate the release of the new Trolls movie, so we decided to stop by and check them out.

‘Trolls Band Together’ Shakes

Schwab’s Pharmacy is located in the Hollywood section of Universal Studios Florida, right next to the holiday Tribute Store.

The building has gotten an overlay with Trolls-themed windows and photos inside. There are three different milkshakes to choose from, each themed to the Trolls.

There’s The BroZone Shake, a Tiny Diamond Shake, and Poppy’s Popping Strawberry Lemonade Shake. Poppy’s shake comes with strawberry Dole Whip, so we had to give this one a try.

Poppy’s Popping Strawberry Lemonade Shake – $8.99

Strawberry Dole Whip, Strawberry Sorbet, Lemonade, Whipped Cream, Topped with Blue Pop Rocks and Candy Flower Sprinkles

This shake is so cute! It’s served in a cup with a Poppy face sticker on it so the Dole Whip swirl can be her “hair.” The base of the shake is more like a smoothie, with a creamy blended mix of strawberry sorbet and lemonade. After the shake is made, strawberry Dole Whip is swirled on the top. Blue Pop Rocks and candy flower sprinkles are added to complete the fun look of the treat.

Poppy’s Popping Strawberry Lemonade is delicious. It’s sweet and slightly tart, but perfectly balanced. The strawberry sorbet and strawberry Dole Whip are very different but work together. The sorbet has a much stronger, tart strawberry flavor compared to the Dole Whip. The strawberry taste of the Dole Whip is much lighter and creamier. The Pop Rocks add a little burst of sweet, sugary flavor and the candy flower sprinkles add a nice, sweet crunch.

These shakes are $8.99 each and well worth the trip to Schwab’s Pharmacy. If you’re not interested in Poppy’s Popping Strawberry Lemonade Shake, you can order strawberry Dole Whip on its own. Schwab’s Pharmacy typically offers pineapple Dole Whip, but this is the first time we’ve seen strawberry Dole Whip available.
