The new droid costs $16.99. If the design looks familiar, that’s because it draws its inspiration — and its name — from the 1940 Disney film, “Fantasia.”

It’s the latest addition to the Droid Factory line, which recently released a holiday-inspired droid, found at World of Disney at Disney Springs and shopDisney.

Its red, yellow, blue, black, and white colors are meant to mimic the look of the movie’s star, Sorcerer Mickey. The subtle reference makes it a great option not just for “Star Wars” lovers, but anyone looking to add to their Mickey Mouse collection.

The droid features many small details and touches that are sure to please “Star Wars” fans. The Droid Factory figures have been a staple in the Disney Parks, long before Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened in 2019. Collectors can look out for options that fit into the “Star Wars” canon, along with seasonal and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge-specific droids. Each one can be taken apart and interchanged with others.

The Sorcerer Mickey-inspired droid joins more new Star Wars merchandise we recently spotted at Downtown Disney District. It is not currently available online.
