Before opening to the public, eet by Maneet Chauhan held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Disney Springs on Friday morning.

We happened to see the ceremony while visiting Disney Springs on Friday. The restaurant’s marquee was installed last month. It’s located in the same building as Days of Christmas in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs, where Wolfgang Puck Express used to be.

Maneet Chauhan is an Indian American chef known for her appearances on several Food Network programs, including “Chopped,” “Iron Chef America,” and “Worst Cooks in America.” She won the network’s “Tournament of Champions” competition in 2021. Chauhan co-owns eet with her husband Vivek Deora.

eet is described as a “modern, fun, Indian-inspired” restaurant. The full menu was released in late October and eet’s official Instagram account shared a first look at several dishes in November.

An official opening date for eet has not been announced, but it is reportedly hosting tests this week and the ribbon-cutting is a good sign it will open to guests any day now.
