At her EPCOT meet and greet this past week, Moana was dressed in winter wear while the weather was colder. Temperatures in Orlando last week were in the 60s, dropping into the 50s in the evening, which led Disney to close Blizzard Beach for several days. While we’re used to seeing other princesses wear long sleeves or capes in the winter, this is Moana’s first chilly season as a regular meet and greet character at Walt Disney World.

Her winter poncho features red strips of fabric featuring a pattern similar to her top. We’ve seen her in this same winter look at Disneyland Resort.

Heated water has also been running in Journey of Water on cold days.

Recently, construction walls had blocked off a pathway next to Journey of Water, Inspired by “Moana” due to a reported leak. Since the Moana meet and greet first opened, the pathway was used as space for the queue.
