The new Walt Disney World “Play in the Park” collection has expanded to include more merchandise. The first “Play in the Park” merchandise collection was released at Disneyland Resort throughout 2021 and 2022.
We first spotted the new Walt Disney World collection with an ear headband and throw blanket, then a Spirit Jersey. We found the majority of the following new items in Celebrity 5 & 10 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Play in the Park Hoodie – $64.99
This yellow zip-up hoodie features Minnie Mouse holding a Mickey balloon in front of Cinderella Castle.
On the back, Mickey and Minnie hold hands, with Pluto, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy around them, as they enjoy their day at Magic Kingdom. “Play in the Park” and “Walt Disney World” are embroidered along the bottom.
This was in the Screen Door General Store at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.
Autograph Book – $12.99
In the Emporium at Magic Kingdom, we picked up this autograph book, featuring Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Chip, and Dale. It’s mostly blue with a coral pink spine.
More characters are pictured on the back. It has 25 photo sleeves that hold 4″ x 6″ photos.
You can write your name in the “This Book Belongs To” section inside the front cover.
The photo sleeves are set against pale yellow pages featuring stars, clouds, and the castle.
Ornament – $24.99
This metal ornament has a spinner piece of Minnie and Mickey in an Astro Orbiter rocket.
Cinderella Castle is on the top, above a frame reading “Play in the Park.”
The ornament is double-sided.
Mickey Mouse with Dole Whip Ornament – $24.99
This ornament depicts Mickey wearing a red shirt and green shorts.
He holds a DOLE Whip and wears a lei.
Mickey is on a red ornament ribbon.
Donald Duck Pulling The Sword in the Stone Ornament – $24.99
Donald’s ornament comes on a blue ribbon.
The duck is attempting to pull the Sword from the Stone.
He wears a blue and yellow Hawaiian shirt.
Minnie & Daisy Mad Tea Party Ornament – $24.99
Minnie and Daisy are depicted having fun on a purple Mad Tea Party cup.
Daisy is in a blue top and skirt, while Minnie is in a white dress.
They’re both wearing matching coral pink bows.
The ornament has a red ribbon that attaches to the inside of the cup.
There are hearts around the outside of the tea cup.
Goofy with Disney Parks Souvenirs Ornament – $24.99
Goofy has been shopping and snacking at Walt Disney World. He’s depicted holding a reusable shopping bag, popcorn, DOLE Whip, a ticket, and a flag.
He’s wearing a casual T-shirt, shorts, and sneakers.
Pen Set – $19.99
There are five pens in this set, with each one featuring a different character on the side of the pen and on a silicone topper.
Minnie is coral pink, Donald is aqua, Goofy is dark purple, Mickey is blue, and Pluto is yellow.
Pen – $9.99
This pen has a dark purple rubber Mickey-shaped ball on the end.
The pen is patterned with images from the “Play in the Park” collection, like tickets and ear hats, against a light blue background.
Four Parks Journal – $19.99
The journal is wrapped in a plastic cover full of confetti that appears to fall over the characters enjoying their visit to Walt Disney World.
Mickey & Friends are pictured on the front of the journal with signs pointing to the four theme parks, as well as trees, a popcorn stand, a lamppost, and more park iconography.
The confetti is blue and silver.
The inside cover features retro atomic art in various shades of blue.
The pages are lined with characters in the bottom corners.
The characters included are Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Daisy, and Pluto.
Mickey is pictured on the back in front of a Magic Kingdom sign and Cinderella Castle.
Puzzle Set – $39.99
This pack includes four puzzles of varying sizes.
One puzzle has 1,000 pieces and features various images of Mickey & Friends. The easiest, at 300 pieces, shows Mickey and Minnie in front of Cinderella Castle. The 500-piece puzzle features Minnie, while the whole gang is on the 750-piece puzzle.
Mystery Pin Set – $19.99
One of these boxes includes two randomly selected pins from this eight-pin set.
Each pin features a different character or a group of characters enjoying an aspect of Disney theme parks:
- Mickey and Minnie walking
- Goofy and Donald on The Haunted Mansion
- Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald on Pirates of the Caribbean
- Goofy with snacks and a shopping bag
- Mickey and Minnie on Mad Tea Party
- Daisy and Minnie dancing with a bubble wand
- Donald leaving a snack stand
- Chip and Dale with a giant ticket
Mickey Plush – $24.99
The usually black sections of Mickey and Minnie are depicted as more of a purple for these plushes (as well as much of the “Play in the Park” artwork).
Mickey wears a red “Best Vacation Ever” tee with blue shorts.
He’s holding a felt ticket and an autograph book.
Minnie Plush – $24.99
Minnie wears a matching white “Best Vacation Ever” shirt with a red polka-dot skirt and matching bow.
She’s also holding her felt ticket in one hand.
In her other hand is a plush DOLE Whip.
The plushes were available in Mickeys of Hollywood at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Emporium at Magic Kingdom.
