The Magic Lamp Theater in Tokyo DisneySea is currently closed for a refurbishment. Scaffolding with themed scrim is up around the theater façade.
The Magic Lamp Theater Construction
The attraction, inspired by “Aladdin” and starring the Genie, is located in the Arabian Coast port of Tokyo DisneySea.
A sign reads, “This facility is temporarily closed for improvements.”
Scaffolding is around the center of the theater’s façade, with planters blocking the construction site from guests.
Themed scrim looks like the façade, complete with “The Magic Lamp Theater Presented by Fujifilm.”
The scaffolding reaches all the way up to the façade’s towers, although the scrim around the towers is just black.
Below is what the façade looks like without scrim and scaffolding.
According to the Tokyo Disney Resort website, The Magic Lamp Theater will be closed through February 18, 2024.
