*NEW* 3 Cheese Grilled Cheese Sandwich – $11.99
Stop whatever you’re doing and go to Battery Park for this sandwich. It is phenomenal.
Crispy, hot bread. Oozing cheese. Savory, sweet bacon jam. Do we really need to say more?
The bacon jam is what absolutely makes this dish the star of Battery Park. The grilled cheese is absolutely perfect. There’s just the right amount of cheese and a plentiful amount of bacon jam. The crunch of the bread and the soft, melty cheese is a winning combo. We dipped the grilled cheese in the tomato soup, which was good, but we thought the soup took away from the sandwich. Skip the dipping and enjoy this grilled cheese on its own!
*NEW* Butternut Squash Soup – $4.99
This is absolutely delicious and pairs perfectly with a sandwich or can be enjoyed on its own. The butternut squash soup is warm and thick and perfect on a cool day in the park. The flavor of the soup is very vibrant and rich and the dollop of sour cream on top adds a creamy texture. The soup captures all the fall and winter vibes of the season. We will be returning again and again for this soup!
*NEW* Creamy Tomato Soup – $4.99
It’s awesome to have an option for grilled cheese and tomato soup. If you like to dip your sandwich in soup, this is a great way to elevate your sandwich experience. To be honest, the grilled cheese sandwich is flavorful enough that it doesn’t need this tomato soup, but it is a classic combo you can’t beat. On its own, we would skip the soup, though. There’s nothing special about it without the sandwich. It’s just a very basic tomato soup.
Mel’s Drive-in Classic Cheeseburger – $13.49
Lettuce, tomato, secret sauce, served with chips
While Mel’s Drive-In is closed for refurbishment, Battery Park is served a basic cheeseburger with a bag of Lays chips on the side. We would skip this one and wait for Mel’s to reopen instead.
Turkey Dinner Sandwich – $12.99
Artisan cranberry bread, roasted turkey breast, brie cheese, orange cranberry aioli
Battery Park offers a lot of amazing options, but this turkey sandwich just did not impress us. In previous years, the turkey sandwich came with a side of gravy. This year, it’s served with an orange cranberry aioli. The flavors of this sandwich didn’t work for us. The meat was cooked well and the turkey was nice and moist, but we didn’t like the taste. There wasn’t very much brie cheese on the sandwich and we could barely taste it.
The bread on the sandwich was absolutely incredible. We tossed the turkey and finished off the bread. We would skip this turkey sandwich, but highly recommend a trip to Bread Box in CityWalk for their holiday turkey sandwich instead.
Chocolate Pressed S’mores Sandwich – $10.99
Chocolate brioche, marshmallows, chocolate ganache, marshmallow cream, graham cracker crumbs
Want a delicious sweet treat for the holidays? This s’mores sandwich tastes exactly like a fresh, homemade Pop-Tart. The chocolate and marshmallow are perfectly balanced, and the chocolate isn’t too overpowering. This is absolutely decadent. There’s an overwhelming amount of ooey, gooey chocolate and marshmallows inside the chocolate brioche, so grab some napkins. This treat is a must if you’re visiting for the holidays.
“VBLT” Sandwich – $
Rustic panini bread, smoked tempeh bacon, Divina tomatoes, arugula, vegan pepper jack cheese, and tomato aioli
This vegan offering is excellent. The tomato aioli gives this a rich, slightly sweet flavor that compliments the spicy vegan pepper jack cheese and tempeh bacon.
It might not be the most filling sandwich, but it’s a delicious vegan offering that is sure to please.
Earl’s Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate Acorn Bomb – $9.49
Chocolate acord shaped shell filled with salted caramel, mini marshmallows, served with hot chocolate
The marshmallows added a super salty caramel flavor to an otherwise rich and decadent hot chocolate. It’s a step above regular hot chocolate, and we’ll be back for more.
Classic Nog – $15.50
with Bacardi 4 year aged rum
Fire Nog – $14.75
with Fireball Cinnamon Whisky
Non-alcoholic Nog – $7.00
An ice cold classic. Nothing beats a traditional eggnog while watching Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s. This is extra thick, rich, and perfectly spiced for the holidays.
