Universal Destinations & Experiences Surveying Guests About Possible Offerings for Halloween Horror Nights Multi-Night Ticket Holders

Universal Destinations & Experiences has sent out a new survey that proposes possible offerings for multi-night ticket holders for Halloween Horror Nights, like those with a Frequent Fear Pass.

Halloween Horror Nights Multi-Night Ticket Perks Survey

Halloween Horror Nights Multi-Night Ticket Survey

The survey asks participants to imagine as though they were gifted a Fear Pass for the 2024 Halloween Horror Nights event, and gauge their interest in possible offerings exclusive to Fear Pass holders.

HHN Multi Night Ticket Perk Survey 2

The survey begins with setting up a hypothetical situation in which Fear Pass holders and one guest would have access to select benefits in addition to the standard offerings for the pass on one specific date. These offerings included:

  • New, exclusive bars for Fear Pass Holders (only open on this and select nights)
  • Discounts on merchandise (for this night)
  • An exclusive single-night panel discussing the creation of the houses and HHN lore
  • Exclusive merchandise for Fear Pass holders (only available on this night)
  • Discounts on Express Passes (for this night)
  • Free event parking (for this night)
  • Free Express access after midnight
  • Discounted Single-Entry tickets (for this night)
  • Exclusive food/secret menu items (for this night)

Upon reading the options, participants were asked to choose between three response options:

  • I would likely attend on this night
  • I would likely attend and invite someone else to attend with me
  • I would likely not attend on this night

These response options were presented with all other hypothetical scenarios.

A second scenario is proposed in which Fear Pass holders and one guest would receive different and similar benefits on a hypothetical event night. These benefits include:

  • Exclusive photo-ops and meet and greets
  • Discounts on merchandise (for this night)
  • Discounted Single-Entry tickets (for this night)
  • Exclusive food/secret menu items (for this night)
  • Discounts on Express Passes (for this night)
  • Exclusive access to a Fear Pass lounge
  • An exclusive single-night HHN-themed “Speed Meeting” event to meet new people with similar interests
  • Exclusive merchandise for Fear Pass holders (only available on this night)
  • Discounts on food and beverage purchases (for this night)

One other benefit included in a later scenario was “An exclusive single-night event for Fear Pass holders featuring a special guest related to one of the houses.”

The questions continue to offer different combinations of these offerings, gauging participants’ interest in attending depending on the Fear Pass perks offered.

HHN Multi Night Ticket Perk Survey 4

The remainder of the survey asked to rank the potential Fear Pass benefits by how appealing they are to the individual taking the survey.

In previous years, Fear Passes for Halloween Horror Nights have been offered in multiple tiers, with each ascending tier offering more dates to attend the annual event. At Universal Orlando Resort, free parking is usually only offered with the Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass, and Express Passes are considered an add-on to the ticket purchase. For behind-the-scenes content, the R.I.P. Tours are an available option at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood; the tour is also an add-on and not included with a multi-day ticket purchase.

This survey may be solely for potential perks for Fear Pass holders at Universal Orlando’s event, though it is also possible that these offerings are being considered for Fear Passes at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Universal occasionally emails surveys to guests to learn more about their theme park experiences, using this data to make changes when necessary. While the potential offerings are exciting, it is also possible that these perks may never come to fruition, or could be considered for Halloween Horror Nights events yet to come.
