It’s a sad day in Flavortown, as Chicken Guy at Disney Springs has reduced its available sauces on the menu from 22 options to just 10.
Chicken Guy Cuts Down on Sauces at Disney Springs
We noticed the change while on a recent visit to Disney Springs. A sign was set up in front of the restaurant that featured the 10 available sauces for guests to choose from when ordering.
The available sauce offerings are now:
- Special Sauce
- Donkey Sauce
- Chipotle Ranch
- Buffalo
- Buttermilk Ranch
- Honey Mustard
- Garlic Parmesan
- Sweet & Sour
- Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ
- Nashville Hot Honey
According to the sign, there is also a “limited time sauce” available, which can be obtained by asking inside when ordering.
The new sauce roster was also added to the paper menus, which have been updated to reflect the change.
The following sauces have been cut from the menu:
- Ranchero
- Curry Mayo
- Wasabi Honey
- Cumin Lime Mojo
- Bleu Cheese
- Lemon Pepper
- Teriyaki
- Avocado Crema
- Peri Peri
- Habanero Hot sauce
- Spicy Mayo
- Sweet Sriracha BBQ
The other Orlando-area Chicken Guy in Winter Park currently offers 13 sauces, with only Avocado Crema being the cut Disney Springs sauce on the menu. The Chicken Guy official website states that the menus “vary by location.”
