Riders stuck on Radiator Springs Racers in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure recently spotted an interesting Easter egg. No, it’s not your standard hidden Mickey, but what looks like a hidden Aladdin.

TikTok user @disneytripsca shared a video of being stuck on the interior portion of the ride. During the 10 minutes of being stopped, a child pointed to something on a column.

We were stuck on the ride for about 10 minutes, and the kid next to me pointed out something small up on the top of the set…looks like a tiny Aladdin figurine to us! The video zooms in on what looks like a toy Aladdin figure sitting on the column next to the Radiator Springs Curios shop façade.

User Lorenz Gideo commented, “I used to be overnight custodial—the maintenance guys love leaving stuff like this around and there’s PLENTY on Racers!” User A Rising Dragon replied, “Im an overnight custodial at dca. Its not just them who likes putting hidden things in places like this one.”

Cars Land opened in 2012, the core of an over $1 billion expansion of Disney California Adventure after years of struggle with small size and an inadequate amount of qualitative rides. Before this space was Cars Land, most of it was a parking lot. A more general car-themed land called Carland was actually in development when Pixar’s “Cars” hit it big in 2006 and Disney decided to shift gears to the IP.

There are three rides:

  • Radiator Springs Racers is a slot car dark ride similar to Test Track at EPCOT and Journey to the Center of the Earth at Tokyo DisneySea.
  • Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters is a trackless ride using similar technology as Aquatopia at Tokyo DisneySea (but without water). It opened in 2016, replacing the short-lived Luigi’s Flying Tires, a bumper/hover-car ride that was plagued with issues.
  • Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree is a whip ride similar to Alien Swirling Saucers at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and The Happy Ride with Baymax at Tokyo Disneyland.

In the fall, Cars Land is decorated for Haul-O-Ween. Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree becomes Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree and Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters becomes Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween. During the winter holidays, they become Mater’s Jingle Jamboree and Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl.

Guests can get food at Cozy Cone Motel, Flo’s V8 Cafe, and Fillmore’s Taste-In. Lightning McQueen, Mater, and other cars make appearances in the land.
