According to the Walt Disney World online calendar, Blizzard Beach will be closed from December 28 through 31. It’s open today, December 26, and scheduled to remain open through Wednesday, December 27, and then reopen on January 1, 2024.

According to Weather.com, Orlando will be cloudy later this week with some showers. Temperatures will be as low as 44°, with highs in the 60s. Adverse weather is predicted to continue into January, but decisions about future park hours will probably wait until closer to those dates.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach has closed several times this season due to adverse weather, which is not unusual for the water park. The park reopened on November 6 while Typhoon Lagoon closed for the winter. Blizzard Beach closed early on November 16. It was closed for all of Thanksgiving Day and the following day, November 24. More low temperatures caused the water park to be closed on Tuesday, November 28, and Wednesday, November 29. It closed again on December 6, December 7, and December 11. The park closed early, after just two hours of operation, on December 12. It was then closed from December 16 through December 20 due to storms and low temperatures.
