The park will be closed for the entire day. According to Weather.com, Orlando is forecasted to have a high of 71° and a low of 59°, with cloudy and slightly windy conditions.

The park is expected to reopen on Friday, November 24, but this could change depending on the weather. Friday is forecasted to have a high of 70° and a low of 60° with some showers.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park reopened on November 6, 2023, and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park closed for the season. Check out our photo report from the Blizzard Beach re-opening.

The two water parks have been alternating operations since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Blizzard Beach is usually open from November to March. Closures due to weather, particularly cold temperatures and lightning, are not uncommon. In 2022 and early 2023, Blizzard Beach had to close several times due to cold temperatures. It closed early on November 16, 2023, due to significant rain. More closures are likely later in the winter.
