With the runDisney 2024 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend taking place January 3 – 7, multiple roads will be closed in and around the resort. Here’s everything you need to know to be prepared.
January 5 Road Closures – Walt Disney World 10K
On Friday, January 5, road closures will begin at 3 a.m. and last through 7:30 a.m. This race begins at 5 a.m. and starts and finishes in the EPCOT parking lot. Closures include Backstage Lane, Crush Lot Exit Bridge, Epcot Center Drive Westbound, Overpass Road Westbound Ramp, and World Drive Southbound.
January 6 Road Closures – Walt Disney World Half Marathon
On Saturday, January 6, 19 roads will be closed or modified for the Walt Disney World Half Marathon between 3 a.m. and 10 a.m. This race begins at 5 a.m. and starts and finishes in the EPCOT parking lot. Road closures include Buena Vista Drive West, Epcot Center Drive, Floridian Way, Vista Boulevard Ramp, and World Drive.
January 7 Road Closures – Walt Disney World Marathon
On Sunday, January 7, roads will be closed or modified for the Walt Disney World Marathon between 3 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. This race begins at 5 a.m. and starts and finishes in the EPCOT parking lot. Road closures include Buena Vista Drive, Bear Island Road, EPCOT Center Drive, Floridian Way, Osceola Parkway West, Vista Boulevard, Western Way, and World Drive.
