Disney has released a first look at the artwork in the new Royal Banquet Restaurant at Disneyland Paris, featuring princesses, villains, and more.
The restaurant opens on January 25 at the Disneyland Hotel in Paris.
Royal Banquet Restaurant Prologue Dining Room
As the name suggests, the Prologue Dining Room art centers on heroes before their stories begin. Some of the works will feature Arthur from “The Sword in the Stone” and young Kida from “Atlantis: The Lost Empire.”
The portrait of Merida’s family from “Brave” is an authentic woven tapestry done by Tissage des Flandres, a “workshop located in the heart of the historic textile basin of Northern France that has been creating top-of-the-range tapestries for over 130 years.”
The buffet room will feature Disney chefs and their creations, including Boun’s shrimp congee from “Raya and the Last Dragon” and Kronk’s spinach puffs from “The Emperor’s New Groove.”
Fauna (and Flora and Merryweather) are pictured with Aurora’s birthday cake from “Sleeping Beauty.”
In the Antechamber, art featuring Disney Villains is featured, including King Magnifico from “Wish,”King Candy from “Wreck-it Ralph,” and the Queen from “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”
The Carousel is a round room featuring Disney horses, including “Tangled’s” Maximus to Khan from “Mulan” and even the most unlikely, like Sven from “Frozen,” and Abu from “Aladdin.”
