Figment is truly the star of the 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, and his Spaceship Earth show proves it! This special limited-time light show illuminates Spaceship Earth periodically after sunset.

Festival of the Arts Figment Spaceship Earth Light Show

The light show is not only inspired by Figment but the original Journey Into Imagination ride. It begins with the voice of the Dreamfinder singing lines from “One Little Spark,” the ride’s theme song, specifically from the original ride’s art section. As Dreamfinder mentions different colors, the lights on Spaceship Earth change.

Then colorful hexagons and stripes appear to move around Spaceship Earth. Some of the lights turn into stars. Dreamfinder and Figment sing the “One Little Spark” stanza about theatrical performances referencing costumes and sets.

Figment sings the “Imagination” chorus of “One Little Spark” as the lights continue to dance, covering Spaceship Earth in white stars. The ball is then covered in a rainbow of colors that shift with the lyrics and beats of the song.

The Figment light show ends with white stars creating a swirl across and around Spaceship Earth. The Figment Spaceship Earth light show is visible from the entrance area of the park or from World Celebration Gardens on the other side of Spaceship Earth.

Figment is represented at the 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts in several ways. The Odyssey Pavilion is Figment’s Inspiration Station, serving a blueberry-filled tart inspired by the dragon, as well as selling the Imagination Pavilion popcorn bucket. The festival’s merchandise collection is mostly purple and features Figment. Guests can search the park for famous works of art with Figment in them during Figment’s Brush With the Masters Scavenger Hunt.
