Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs Will Not Accept Disney Dining Plan

With the Disney Dining Plan finally back at Walt Disney World, guests will be looking out for locations where they can use their included meals and snacks. Unfortunately, one popular Disney Springs spot will not accept the dining plan — Gideon’s Bakehouse.

Per the official Walt Disney World website, Gideon’s Bakehouse is not accepting either the Disney Dining Plan or the Quick Service Dining Plan. The bakery opened in 2021, and the Disney Dining Plan was suspended in 2020.

As Gideon’s Bakehouse is a third-party location, it makes sense that they wouldn’t take Disney’s dining or snack credits in exchange for their coffee, cookies, and cake slices. The full list of restaurants participating in the Disney Dining Plan was released back in May 2023, and Gideon’s Bakehouse is not included. A total of 219 restaurants participate in the Dinsey Dining Plan, including table-service restaurants, and 119 accept the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan.
