2024 is finally here, and what better way to kick off a new year and a new month than with the latest offering at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs, the Maple Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookie?

This month’s menu features art of Poppy, an ice fairy with a warm heart.

Maple Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookie – $6.92

This is huge, as usual for a Gideon’s cookie.

It’s super soft, but not too gooey. Our reporter is a big fan of the regular chocolate chip cookie at Gideon’s and was a bit nervous to try this one. However, they thought that all the flavors together made for a fantastic combination.

The walnut offers a nice saltiness, which balances out the sweetness of the chocolate so you’re not overwhelmed. It also provides some variety in texture as well.

We didn’t get much of the maple syrup flavor in our cookie.

If you’re a fellow chocolate chip cookie lover but find that they’re sometimes too sweet, you might want to give the Maple Walnut Chocolate Chip cookie a try. We definitely suggest sharing with family or friends, as it is pretty large. We think it would be perfectly paired with a coffee.

Gideon’s Bakehouse

Gideon’s Bakehouse is a popular quick-service cookie and coffee shop in The Landing section of Disney Springs. It’s usually open from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. with long lines of guests hoping to try their unique and giant cookies.

Each month, Gideon’s offers a limited-edition cookie and collectible menu.

Gideon’s Bakehouse limits guests to purchasing seven cookies per person when visiting a shop. Since these cookies weigh approximately half a pound each, that’s roughly a three-pound cookie limit.

They also offer cake slices and nitro cold brews.
