Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa opened in January 2001 as part of the major expansion to Disneyland Resort that included Disney California Adventure and Downtown Disney District. The Grand Californian is a sister hotel to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, which opened in 1988.

Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa Loungefly Backpack – $88

Disney's Grand Californian Hotel Loungefly backpack

This brown pleather bag looks like a hiking bag. It has dark brown handles and straps over the two pockets. The pocket flaps are suede and matching suede pieces are on the handles for a softer grip.

The majority of the bag has an all-over pattern of Grand Californian and camping iconography like bears, tents, trees, roasting marshmallows, and the hotel itself. The front pocket has a fake buckle with bronze hardware.

“Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa” is stamped on the main pocket’s flap in golden lettering. A metal Disney Parks and Loungefly plaque is between the two pocket flaps. It’s dark brown with golden lettering and is set against a dark brown pleather rectangle.

The all-over pattern continues around the sides and over the back of the bag. There are no side pockets like standard Loungefly backpacks. The shoulder straps are dark brown — the same shade as the handles. They’re adjustable.

Interior lining of Grand Californian Loungefly backpack

The interior lining is brown. It’s patterned with a logo for the hotel featuring a tree and “ESTD. 2001.” In addition to the logo is a symbol featuring crossed sticks with marshmallows on the ends, a tent, and a Mickey head.

Corkcicle Bottle – $44.99

Grand Californian Corkcicle bottle

This Corkcicle is 25 ounces or 750 milliliters. It’s not safe for the dishwasher or microwave. The exterior has a fake wood finish, similar to a Corkcicle bottle released at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge a few years ago. “Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa” is on one side in shiny golden lettering beneath a pine tree.

The Corkcicle logo is in white on the other side of the bottle near the bottom. The inside of the bottle is stainless steel. It has a twist-off cap with the same wood finish as the tumbler.

Jacket – $79.99

Green Grand Californian jacket

The jacket is an army green color. It has a high neck and snap buttons on the sleeve cuffs. There are four pockets on the front with flaps.

This short-sleeved T-shirt is a heather blue-gray and has a wide scoop neck. The back of the hem is longer than the front.
