The Country Bear Jamboree was an opening day attraction at the Magic Kingdom. It gave its last hurrah on January 26, 2024. It did not have a traditional final show as multiple audio animatronics broke during one of the late evening performances.

The entrance is roped off, and the new teaser sign is hung on the center posts.

The new Country Bears Musical Jamboree is set to debut this summer after the attraction undergoes a lengthy refurbishment and changes are made. The full extent of the changes is unknown at this time, but it will feature new and returning music.

A permit was filed earlier this year for updates to the audio/visual system as well.

The sign reads “Bear with us. We’re rehearsing a brand new show!” with “Grizzly Hall Est. 1898” above.

At first, the “__ Minutes Until Our Next Show” sign was still in place, but Cast Members altered it while we were there.

They turned the sign around to the blank side so as not to confuse guests who might have been looking for a showtime.

The pressed penny machine remains unchanged at this time. Guests are still able to get a penny featuring Liver Lips McGrowl, whose name will be changed to Romeo for the new iteration.

The new version will feature new, updated, and returning music. Disney released a preview of the recording session, found in the video below. Based on the musical revues of Nashville fame, the new music will feature new versions of classic Disney songs.
