Tokyo Disney Resort now has their 40th-anniversary “Dream-Go-Round” Grand Finale merchandise collection available at the Grand Emporium in Tokyo Disneyland. Tokyo Disney Resort first provided a preview of the merchandise last month.
Tokyo Disney Resort 40th Anniversary Grand Finale Merchandise
Grand Finale merchandise items are limited to three per guest per purchase. The Grand Emporium was busy when we visited so we received a Merchandise Purchase Ticket. If these tickets are being handed out, you need one to purchase merchandise. You hand the Merchandise Purchase Ticket to the Cast Member when you check out.
Bandana – ¥1,100
The bandana is 53 centimeters by 53 centimeters. It features Grand Finale artwork of Mickey & Friends in their colorful Dream-Go-Round outfits. Princesses, Princes, and other characters are in the background.
“40 Dream-Go-Round Grand Finale Everlasting Dreams” is printed at the top of the bandana.
Face Towel – ¥1,700
The face towel is 34 centimeters by 80 centimeters. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Pluto, and Goofy are lined up across the towel with spots of color and golden stars around them. The towel has a gold border.
The full design is on the packaging. Like most of this merchandise, it features the 40th anniversary “Dream-Go-Round” logo.
Wide Bath Towel – ¥3,700
The large bath towel features the same art as the bandana but in a rectangular orientation. Mickey and Minnie are the largest characters. The towel is 152 centimeters by 76 centimeters.
Bag Charm – ¥2,600
Mickey & Friends are on the metal bag charm. It has a chain with lobster claw clips. A small Chip ‘n’ Dale charm attaches to the bottom of the main charm.
The “40 Dream-Go-Round Grand Finale” logo is at the bottom of the large charm. The characters are all in their Dream-Go-Round outfits.
Dream Garland – ¥800
The Dream Garland is a triangular pennant featuring Minnie and Mickey’s faces at the wide end, above the 40th anniversary logo. Cinderella Castle and Tinker Bell are silhouetted against colorful starbursts. It has a plastic clip at the top.
For the 40th anniversary, the Dream Garlands were a special decoration that represents the idea that guests, Cast Members, and Disney friends are connected, like pieces of a garland.
Mug – ¥2,100
The mug is white with Mickey & Friends marching around the outside. They are surrounded by colorful spots and stars. “40 Dream-Go-Round Grand Finale” is above Mickey.
Music Box – ¥4,500
The music box is 7 centimeters by 13 centimeters by 5 centimeters. It plays “Living in Color,” the theme song of the 40th anniversary celebration. Though the packaging features the full Grand Finale art, the box itself has a simpler design.
It’s white with a clear glass lid window on the top. The glass is decorated with golden filigree and the 40th anniversary Grand Finale logo in the center. There is a golden knob inside for playing the music.
Accessory Case – ¥7,000
The accessory case is 30 centimeters by 23 centimeters by 10 centimeters. It’s also white and gold, with a 40th anniversary plaque on the top. It is covered in pleather.
Acrylic Block – ¥4,800
This decorative block is 20 centimeters by 2 centimeters by 14 centimeters. It’s translucent with the Grand Finale artwork of Mickey & Friends and other Disney characters.
Cushion – ¥5,500
The cushion is inspired by Mickey’s Dream-Go-Round top hat. It’s star-shaped, with colorful stripes twisting around the sides to a golden brim. Mickey’s black ears stick out of the sides and the 40th anniversary Grand Finale logo is embroidered on one ear. The hat is approximately 40 centimeters tall, 58 centimeters wide, and 34 centimeters thick.
Tote Bag – ¥2,900
The tote bag has an ombre rainbow design. Sketches of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Chip, and Dale are in black across the colors.
Drawstring Bag (Kinchaku) – ¥1,000
The drawstring bag features the Grand Finale artwork of Mickey & Friends and other characters. It has a yellow-gold drawstring. The bag is about 23 centimeters by 20 centimeters.
Flag – ¥1,000
The handheld flag comes on a yellow-gold plastic stick with a gemstone on top. It unfurls to reveal the Grand Finale artwork. The pole is approximately 35 centimeters long, while the flag is 19 centimeters by 23 centimeters.
Keychain Set – ¥8,800
The set includes eight keychains in one box. There are keychains featuring Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Chip ‘n’ Dale. It also includes a mystery keychain.
The characters are depicted in their Dream-Go-Round outfits. The Mickey keychain is red, the Minnie keychain is pink, the Pluto keychain is orange, and the Donald keychain is yellow.
The Daisy keychain is blue, the Goofy keychain is green, and the Chip ‘n’ Dale keychain is purple. Each keychain is on a gold ring with a clip and a pennant charm.
Clear Folder Set – ¥1,200
The clear folders are A4 size. There are three in the set. The first features the Grand Finale design pictured.
A second features Mickey & Friends in the center with the 40th anniversary Grand Finale logo. Behind them is a colorful garland pattern. The third folder also features colorful garlands but Disney characters are pictured on some of the pennants.
Glassware Set – ¥3,000
There are two glasses in this set. Each one is 16 centimeters tall and 6 centimeters in diameter. They’re both transparent with golden designs. Mickey is featured on one and Minnie is featured on the other. They are surrounded by stars and filigree with the 40th anniversary Grand Finale logo on the opposite side.
Parade Mat – ¥850
This parade mat unfolds from the easy travel case to be 60 centimeters by 90 centimeters. The case and the mat feature the Grand Finale artwork. The case is lined with a peach-colored fabric and has a strap.
Mickey & Minnie Plush Set – ¥8,000
These small plush come attached to one another. Mickey and Minnie are depicted in their Dream-Go-Round outfits, complete with embroidery detailing. Mickey wears a 40th anniversary medallion.
Mickey is approximately 21 centimeters tall, while Minnie is 19 centimeters tall. Their hands are sewn together.
They both wear red shoes with the 40th anniversary logo printed on the sole of the left shoe.
Mickey Plush & Minnie Plush – Both ¥5,000
Larger posable Mickey and Minnie plush are sold separately. Their outfits are extra sparkly. Their arms and legs can be manipulated and they have relatively flat feet for standing up. They’re each about 31 centimeters tall.
Tomica Vehicle – ¥1,500
The newest Disney vehicle by Tomica is a Dream-Go-Round Monorail figure that looks just like the real vehicle decorated for the 40th anniversary. The figure is about 8 centimeters long, 2 centimeters wide, and 3 centimeters tall. It features Mickey, Minnie, the 40th anniversary logo on the sides and top, and garland pictured around the windows.
Handheld Balloon – ¥700
This handheld balloon is 37 centimeters tall. It comes on a golden plastic stick adorned with an ombre organza ribbon. On one side of the Mickey-shaped is the 40th anniversary Grand Finale logo against a translucent background decorated with stars and colorful confetti.
The other side of the balloon is opaque. It’s mostly white with a dense confetti design and gold stars. A gold Mickey head wearing his Dream-Go-Round top hat is in the center, above “Tokyo Disney Resort.”
Poster Set – ¥3,500
This set includes two holographic posters stamped with gold and silver foil. They are both 59 centmeters by 42 centimeters.
One features the main Grand Finale artwork. The other one features Mickey & Friends flying around Cinderella Castle through the clouds. “40 Dream-Go-Round” is at the bottom.
Postcard Set – ¥1,300
There are five postcards in this set. The first features the Grand Finale artwork with all the characters. The second has a red gradation background with gold filigree and the 40th anniversary logo on the top.
The other three postcards feature Pluto and Chip ‘n’ Dale against a pink background, Goofy against a green background, and Daisy and Donald against a blue background. The same characters are pictured on the backs of the postcards with space for writing a letter.
Tape Set – ¥1,000
There are three rolls of tape in this set: two small rolls and one large roll. The first small roll features a garland pattern with characters in each pennant. The second roll is a peach color with golden filigree and the 40th-anniversary logo. The large roll features Mickey & Friends marching.
Badge Set – ¥1,100
There are three badges in this set. The small ones are about 4 centimeters in diameter, while the large one is 8 centimeters. Mickey & Friends are on the large design. One of the small ones features the 40th anniversary Grand Finale logo while the other features the golden Mickey head logo wearing his Dream-Go-Round top hat.
Cookies – ¥1,300
This tin is white with Mickey & Friends marching across the top. There is golden filigree across the edges and the 40th anniversary Grand Finale logo is above the characters. The tin includes 12 cookies.
Each cookie is wrapped in purple and gold packaging. The cookies feature Mickey and Minnie’s faces.
Assorted Sweets – ¥2,500
This tin is circular with the main Grand Finale artwork of Mickey & Friends. Inside are four Mickey-shaped madeleines, five butter and strawberry cookies, five butter and chocolate cookies, and four chocolate cookies.
Chocolates – ¥1,100
This box contains 12 pieces of milk chocolate. The box is decorated with the Grand Finale artwork.
Each chocolate features a Mickey head. They come in wrappers featuring Disney characters on Dream-Go-Round garland.
Churro Snack – ¥900
One of these tall boxes includes 16 creme brûlée churro snacks, each individually wrapped. The box and wrappers feature Mickey & Friends. The churros are Mickey-shaped.
