During registration for the 2024 Halloween Half Marathon Weekend at Disneyland Resort, we got a first look at the race weekend’s merchandise and were able to pre-order items for pick-up.
This will be Disneyland’s first-ever Halloween Half Marathon Weekend, taking place from September 5 through 8, 2024. General registration opened on February 13 after Club runDisney registration opened last week. Themes were revealed last month.
Halloween Half Marathon Weekend Commemorative Bundle
This bundle included a Corkcicle 20-ounce canteen, the weekend logo pin, the weekend event magnet, and a sneaker ornament. The total to pre-order this bundle was $109.99.
The Corkcicle is light blue with the Hatbox Ghost pictured running on one side. “Halloween” is printed in white down the other side, with various characters pictured between the letters.
The ornament resembles a purple, blue, and black running shoe. There are ghostly characters representing each race, including Chip ‘n’ Dale for the 5K and Gus the Hitchhiking Ghost for the 10K. A runDisney strap is across the top and the weekend’s wordmark is across the back.
The magnet and the pin have a similar design. Brightly-colored coffin shapes feature Chip ‘n’ Dale for the 5K, Gus for the 10K, Minnie as Winnie Sanderson for the half marathon, and Jack Skellington for the challenge. They are pictured above the weekend’s wordmark. The magnet is Mickey-shaped with Sleeping Beauty Castle and the runDisney logo on the ears.
Halloween Half Marathon Weekend Spirit Jersey – $79.99
The Spirit Jersey has a black to purple ombre design, with the race weekend’s wordmark on the back. Characters representing each race and Sleeping Beauty Castle are also pictured on the back.
Halloween Half Marathon Weekend Loungefly Backpack – $78
The coffin shapes with the characters representing each race are on the front of this black backpack. It has glow-in-the-dark elements, including a moon, stars, bats, and the event logo.
Halloween Half Marathon Weekend Jacket / Short Sleeve T-Shirt Bundle
This $134.99 bundle included a hooded jacket and T-shirt.
The zip-up jacket is black with the event wordmark on the left breast. A circular design on the back features characters in the windows of Sleeping Beauty Castle and Madame Leota as the moon.
The T-shirt has a purple-to-black ombre design with the characters in coffin shapes on the front. Instead of being in full color, the characters on the jacket and tee are in ghostly shades of teal and white.
Halloween Half Marathon Weekend Fitted Jacket / Short Sleeve T-Shirt Bundle
The fitted jacket and T-shirt are black and purple. This bundle was also $134.99.
The jacket has purple accents on the inside of the sleeves and the side of the torso. The wordmark is on the left breast while a larger version with the characters is on the back.
The shirt is black with purple ombre sleeves. It has the full logo with characters on the front.
Halloween Half Marathon Weekend Magic Key Bundle
The Magic Key bundle was $154.99 and included a Spirit Jersey, logo pin, magnet, and short-sleeved T-shirt. These items are all gray or black with a ghostly teal design and feature Madame Leota.
The Spirit Jersey is black. The bottom half features a pattern of Haunted Mansion characters, plus Chip, Dale, Minnie Sanderson, Figaro, and the runDisney logo. Madame Leota is “running” across the back of the jersey below the Magic Key and Disneyland Resort wordmarks.
The shirt has the same Madame Leota design with the Magic Key, Disneyland Resort, and race weekend wordmarks against a gray background. Teal blue stripes run from the tops of the sleeves down the sides of the shirt.
The Mickey-shaped magnet features Madame Leota in the “o” of “Halloween.” Some of her floating instruments are in one Mickey ear, while a bust is pictured on the other ear. There are also bats, a raven, and white stars.
The Magic Key pin features the wordmarks and Madame Leota racing past the bust, instruments, bats, and raven.
Halloween Half Marathon Weekend Pin Bundles
There were five pin bundles. One includes all 13 pins for $279.99, while the others include the three pins for each race or challenge and are $64.99 each. The logo pin pictured above is included in the large bundle and the commemorative weekend bundle.
The individual race bundles include each race’s logo pin, medal replica pin, and “I Did It” pin. The Half Marathon features Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle as the Sanderson Sisters from “Hocus Pocus.”
Medal designs have not been revealed yet, so the medal pin designs were just represented with a question mark.
The 10K has the Haunted Mansion theme, with the two revealed pins featuring all three Hitchhiking Ghosts. The first pin has them in front of the Haunted Mansion entrance archway, with Madame Leota on the wrought iron filigree.
Each pin is approximately 1.75 inches.
The 5K is represented by Chip ‘n’ Dale in their pirate and astronaut Halloween costumes. The “I Did It” pin reads “I Went Fur It!”
The Chills & Thrills 19.3-mile challenge is themed to “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” Jack, Sally, and Zero are on one pin, while just Jack and Zero are on the front of the hinged pin.
