Renovated “Mickey and Friends” deluxe rooms will open this April in Disney’s Hollywood Hotel at Hong Kong Disneyland.
Disney’s Hollywood Hotel “Mickey and Friends” Deluxe Rooms
The rooms feature a new mural above the beds of Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, Daisy, Chip, and Dale. The characters are depicted wearing mostly red clothes, with golden yellows and bright whites. They’re set against a gray art deco background inspired by old Hollywood.
The edges of the mural resemble a film strip. Behind the beds is a yellow-gold cushioned headboard. There is a gold trim near the ceiling and some of the walls are a deep red color. Beneath the beds is a rug with a red diamond pattern.
A circular mirror sits in a black frame inspired by film strips.
The deluxe rooms sleep up to four people with either two double beds or one king bed. The end table between the beds lights up and reads “Now Showing.”
The beds have white linens with subtle pinstriping. Square accent pillows are black with the gold silhouette of Mickey or Minnie’s face.
The bathrooms have been refreshed with off-white walls and a new film strip frame around a rectangular mirror. There are either fewer towel racks and shelves or they have just been moved and aren’t visible in this picture.
For comparison, here are photos of a standard room in Disney’s Hollywood Hotel. The pictured room has a much brighter color scheme featuring turquoise and yellow.
The bathroom walls are more yellow, have more built-in racks and shelves, and have a brown wood mirror frame.
Guests will be able to book a “Mickey and Friends” deluxe room with a garden/landscape view or a sea/garden view.
