“Star Wars: Andor” Wraps Filming
Today is the last day of filming Andor. I could not be more thankful to the entire crew for this amazing experience and the years of hard work.
More than 700 people have worked on this production, and it is impossible to say goodbye and thank you to everyone individually, which is why I write here. THANK YOU for the love and the wonderful experience.
See you soon.

“Andor” season two will have 12 episodes. It was originally scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in August 2024 but is reportedly delayed to 2025 due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
“Star Wars: Andor” is a prequel to “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” focused on the character of Cassian Andor, portrayed by Luna. It also stars Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma, Stellan Skarsgård as Luthen Rael, Adria Arjona as Bix Caleen, Kyle Soller as Syril Karn, Denise Gough as Dedra Meero, Faye Marsay as Vel Sartha, Varada Sethu as Cinta Kaz, Elizabeth Dulau as Kleya Marki, and Fiona Shaw as Maarva Andor. The series is created and executive produced by Tony Gilroy.
It’s also executive-produced by Luna, Kathleen Kennedy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Toby Haynes, and Michelle Rejwan. The show is produced by Kate Hazell and David Meanti.
Ariel Kleiman directed six episodes of season two. Janus Metz and Alonso Ruizpalacios also directed episodes. Returning writers included Tony Gilroy, his brother Dan Gilroy, and Beau Wilimon. They were joined by Tom Bissell.
