Disney has begun to prepare for the 2024 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival with the Tinker Bell topiary, Prehistoric Garden, and more.
Tinker Bell’s Fairy House Garden
The Tinker Bell topiary has been installed for Tinker Bell’s Fairy House Garden. This garden is next to the Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the U.K. Pavilion. In addition to the topiary, the garden will feature small fairy houses.
The topiary sits atop a moss-covered rock. Tink is mostly green with her yellow-blonde hair, detailed wings, and white flowers on her shoes.
Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and Tick Tock Croc topiaries will be between the U.K. and Canada Pavilions.
The Prehistoric Garden is in World Discovery near Mission: SPACE. The garden features plants that have existed since the prehistoric era.
Large bowl-shaped planters display the prehistoric plants. There are also small dinosaur figures tucked into each planter for extra theming.
Flat garden rocks resemble fossils with faux dinosaur skeletons and eggs embedded in them.
The dinosaur figures turn each display into a miniature scene.
The plants are set up in the bowls to look more wild, like they would have been 65 million years ago.
There is a variety of different plants and different dinosaurs represented in the garden.
No labels for the plants have been installed yet but the garden has previously featured several fern species, sundew, farfugium, ruby red club moss, and horsetail.
The new Global Gardens at this year’s festival will be the China Penjing Garden at the China Pavilion and the Gnome Garden at the Germany Pavilion.
Butterfly Landing Presented by AdventHealth is under construction behind green scrim in World Nature. It’s located between Imagination! and The Land. Guests will be able to view various species of butterflies inside a tent.
A framework for Butterfly Landing is up behind the green scrim.
Butterfly Landing will close at dusk.
Festival Blooms is a garden along the park’s lagoon near World Celebration. Guests can enjoy large panoramic displays of flowers creating different images.
The flowers create three giant butterfly displays, as well as one giant flower, set against color-block backgrounds.
The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival runs from February 28 through May 27, 2024. Check out the full list of topiaries and gardens coming to this year’s festival.
