Charita Carter, Executive Creative Producer for Walt Disney Imagineering, has given fans an exclusive first look at a breathtaking Tiana animatronic set to grace the new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction, just in time for Mardi Gras.

With lifelike movements and meticulous attention to detail, this animatronic brings Princess Tiana to life in her adventure attire (created specifically for this attraction), ready to guide guests through the enchanting bayou.

Disney unveiled a few images and a video today to show off the first-ever audio-animatronics figure of Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog.

The figure is the latest in a line of cutting-edge, all-electric figures debuting around the world at various Disney Parks. The quality and make of the “Tiana-matronic” brings to mind The Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast at Tokyo Disneyland and the reimagined version of Frozen Ever After that recently opened at Hong Kong Disneyland.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open summer of 2024 at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World Resort, and sometime later in 2024 at Disneyland Park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. The attraction replaces Splash Mountain at both parks.
