The queue for The Little Mermaid — Ariel’s Undersea Adventure has reopened with new Lightning Lane touch points.

The entrance and queue to The Little Mermaid — Ariel’s Undersea Adventure at Disney California Adventure had been moved to the left side of the front of the building since the attraction was added to Genie+ in November of 2023. Now, with new permanent Lightning Lane touch points, the queue has returned to form, beginning under the dome of the building.

Turning left when you walk under the dome, two new signs indicate that the stand-by line is to the left and the Lightning Lane line is to the right.

The digital signs are themed, with an under the sea background behind the predicted wait time.

We can also get a full view of the themed Lighting Lane touch points. This one has a starfish sitting atop it.

The Lightning Lane queue enters at the door to the building, while the stand-by line continues past it, into the extended queue area. In our experience using Lightning Lane, once we walked through the doors, we were on the ride in the span of a few moments. The posted stand-by time was at 10 minutes and with Lighting Lane, it took us just over three minutes.
